About Miss Becky's
My husband and I live on a small farm outside Janesville, WI where we garden and raise Nubian Dairy Goats with the herd name Butt-n-Down and a few chickens. We are now retired from the rat race and experimenting in some fun ways to earn a little extra to make ends meet.
I have been raising Dairy Goats since 1981, doing some showing and learning different ways to use the milk. Today we make a variety of fresh cheeses for family and friends and offer the extra milk to pet owners from a self serve refrigerator at the back door. I make luxurious, creamy milk soaps for sale with all natural ingredients and fragrance oils.
I have sewn since my Mother taught me to sew as a child. I enjoy it so much that I enrolled in a tailoring class in the 70's and I now spend my free time making fashion creations plus pot holders, decorative pillows and 19th century pattern mens shirts for reenactors.
The dried herbs and floral materials are from my garden and will vary with the abundance of the year. I spent 12 years working in a floral shop and I still enjoy creating special florals with fresh and dried materials.
